Nothing comes up on monitor May sound pedantic, but have you cheacked all the cables? are they all plugged in firmly, and does the "power" light on the monitor turn on when you press the power button? if not, it may be something to do with the power cable, also, have you tried plugging the monitor into another computer? or a different monitor into that computer? basicly, you need to do as many tests with different equipment, till you have narrowed it down to definatly be a certain part.
