I have long debated whether to go with Nvidia or ATI. Although Nvidia is a larger company, I feel that ATI is on the rise. As Nvidia seems to be more accepted as standrad requirements for games and around the gaming community, I went with Nvidia for now.

They leap frog oneanother. ATI have the best graphics card out then Nvidia have the best. I'm not sure whats the best card for PCI E right now but in November the Nvidia Series 8 card will be far more powerfull than any ATI card. It will be next year when ATI has a card to compete with it. I stick with Nvidi as ATI drives have been known to have problems with my 3D software Softimage XSI. ATI have joined with AMD so that deal should allow them to make a far better processor and CPU in the next few years.
