Default One problem after another.PLEASE HELP.

First of all here's the specs of my pc:
Motherboard: XFX XG31i (brand new)
processor: Pentium Dual Core 2.88 Ghz
RAM: 1 gb ddr2 800 Mhz (brand new)
psu: 600 watts generic ( brand new)
(that's all you need to know i guess)

initial problem
before i bought the aforementioned motherboard and RAM and powersupply, One day i was using my computer and right before i attempted to turn it off, it suddenly died (this happened in a number of occasions, a bluescreen flashes in less than a second before it restarts),this time it died but didn't restarted but i could see and hear all the fans working, also i smell something got burnt, i thought the RAM got burnt and the motherboard got cooked so i bought a new one and when i tried the new motherboard and RAM it still didn't worked, same problem all fans work but no display on the monitor, no beeps too.

I bought a new motherboard and RAM because I thought that was the problem of my computer because the fans (psu and processor) work but only to find out that the problem was the psu so i replaced it with a generic 600 watts psu.

Problem 2
So I set-up the new psu and mobo with my old processor, now the problem is the processor overheats, i saw on the bios that the cpu temperature was 60 degrees celsius/centigrade so when the computer tries to loads the windows it dies even before it loads the windows(OS).what i did was put some new thermal paste then the temperature went down by 10 degrees (50 degrees celsius//centigrade now).

Problem 3
I thought that my computer is finally OK, because it doesn't overheat anymore and it can load the Windows now. As i've mentioned my motherboard is new so I have to install the drivers now, and so I did, but while I was installing it, the computer suddenly freezed (for about a second or two) and died.

When I turned it on again, the computer keeps on restarting time and again, it can no longer load the Windows(OS).I figured the OS got messed up but it's no big deal because I can still recover the files and reformat the harddrive. What's important is to know why my computer freezed and died.

I tried to use another hard drive and the computer still freezes and dies time and again.

I figured it can not be the powersupply (it's brand new although generic), no way in hell it can be the motherboard and RAM because those two are both new.

Problem 4
So what I did next is try a different processor ( Intel Celeron), just when I thought my situation couldn't possibly go worse, the Celeron did not work, AT ALL, and when I returned and tried the Pentium Dual Core same thing happened, it didn't worked at all, no fans working, no beeps, nothing. WHAT'S THE PROBLEM NOW????

In my opinion either of these 3 could be the problem:
1. I DESTROYED MY BRAND NEW MOTHERBOARD(which has warranty)
by trying different things (i tried to switch processors and fans numerous times), this could be possible because the entire computer works before, it just freezes and dies moments later.
2. THE PROCESSOR (Intel Dual Core 2.88 Ghz), it's 3 years old. I don't know how this could be the problem but i have a bad feeling. ( after problem 4 i tried this processor on my old motherboard, and problem is the same with the initial problem, fans working but no display (no burned-smell though)) but when i try it again on the new motherboard (the XFX), it just totally won't work when i press the ON button
3. POWERSUPLLY. It's GENERIC.600 watts.why would i believe it is 600 watts?you might be wondering why i bought a generic psu?simple reason. I don't have a job yet, thus i don't have the power to buy a good PSU.

WHY WOULD MY COMPUTER FREEZE AND DIE TIME AND AGAIN?BUT THE BIGGER PROBLEM NOW IS WHY MY COMPUTER DOES'NT WORK ANYMORE?

YOU GUYS PLEASE HELP ME, I AM LOSING TIME AND MONEY AND I'M ABOUT TO GIVE UP.

Well, then enjoy your broken PC, I guess. Your PSU could have toasted any number of things but I suppose saving a tiny bit of money on some poor generic to risk everything else is worth it to you.
