This could be your power supply or all manner of things Baggin.
Do you get any error messages of any description?

By the way, welcome to PCF. :)

Hi Baggin PSU is the box at the back of where you plug your 240v supply into usually held by 4 screws. when you replace it take careful note of where all the connectors go. there are several different types. digital photos "sometimes" help. Don't skimp on thee PSU get a decent one.

Couldn't it be some problem with the software ? OR with some other hardware cause he says it starts not like it doesn't start . Well my suggestion is to try to install a new windows that should solve , if it doesn't then its some hardware issue like the ones above .

As it is able to start the system it means the problem is not in the power supply. If that were the case it would not at all be able to switch on the cpu in the first instance. Look for cpu or mother board settings and OS settings.

I do not think there is any problem with power supply. I think there is something wrong with the operating system.

I think there is some kind of power supply only that is hindering your computer only ....If the power supply is the main problem, then you must get a good UPS for for system as it will increase or decrease the power supply accordingly.......

Ok, What Operating System do you have? Consider a complete re-install of this.

If this doesn't work and your computer still freezes/shutsdown randomly, RAM could be at fault.
