Default PC fault finding questions

A good fault finding system built into all motherboards is the post boot beep codes, if the computer will not boot display anything on screen and the computer just beeps a series of long and short beeps to the user identifying the problem with any hardware, ie memory, cpu, gpu motherboard ect...(different manufacturers have different beep codes)
