Hey guys, I need some help. I'm currently putting an old PC I had laying around back up but there's one problem. The monitor doesn't seem to be coming on and the strange thing about it I don't even have a beep sound coming out.

Everything is new on it, except what's built in. I just loaded it up with new DDR Memory, Hard drive is new and works fine. I tried using a working Video card... but nothing happened. The power supply is working. Any help??

Here's the info I can give you:

- Motherboard: PC CHIPS M825LU (V7.2c) [ website: http://www.pcchipsusa.com/PCCWebSite/Pro... ]
- SATA Hard disk
- 2 X 256 MB DDR RAM

Everything else is built in so can you guys help me out here? I would like to have it up for tonight...

I'm not getting any beeps or nothing. I also tried different DDR RAM with lower frequencies, that the board supports but no luck... Can someone help me

Thanks for all your input!!

the beep would be coming from the computer rather than the monitor

have you checked all mobo connections etc?

does an led appear on the monitor at all as indication its getting power, just so we can rule out a faulty monitor

Sorry I think I have the wrong board??? The monitor works fine. It's the PC not booting or no beep codes.. and the monitor isn't coming on

have you double checked ALL connections, pressing them all in firmly?
