My computer was running a bit slow so I restarted it but as it began to reload it stopped on the motherbaord screen where it asks to "hit delete to enter setup" and wouldn't load up my Windows XP OS. I have a paper due tomorrow and if I have to restart it I'd like to have my computer fixed quickly. What can I do/ replace to fix this?

Sounds like it might be having trouble detection your hard drive, does it show up in you BIOS?
