Default Possible Gaming Computer

ok i currently am writing this on a laptop, but i can get this computer for a £10 plus they have loads of these lying around so thts good.

its an RM machine, which has:
  • 2.00Ghz Celeron
  • 256Mb DDR 2100 RAM
  • 40GB hard drive
  • Xp pro
  • it has No cd drive, but i have a network, and in the past have been able to use a cd drive over a network, though i dont think this would work for gaming as it would look for a cd drive not a network cd drive.
  • it has a low profile case, not so good, but as i mentioned earlier i have another old case, although not sure if it is ATX
  • onboard graphics
  • the psu is an odd type, its long and slim not like a square on an ATX case.
thats all i can remember.

it also has an AGP slot, well im told and a PCI-e x1 card refer to this:

Yea, second had of ebay, or wait till you have more money would be my sugestions, that computer will play some older games, however probably new games even on lowest settings won't be playable.

Mainly just that they are far behind Intel at the moment, and you can get better processors for the same price with intel chips. Usually anyway, the lower end ones though might not be.

Yes, this is impossible. Double your budget and you have a chance.

I reckon its worth the money.
They have used pretty much the cheapest of everything(not even a DVD RW included!)but with a decent graphics card it will be good enough to play the games you want.
