Hello. I am in the process of upgrading and have moved my existing motherboard and components into an Antec P182 case. When I power-up the cpu fan kicks in and stays at high speed and I get no signal on the monitor. I restart and unplug the psu etc.... and nothing works. Just wondering where I should be looking for the problem?
I am running an AMD Athlon Dual Core at the moment on an ATI motherboard. My video card fan is spinning as well as all other case fans. I can hear my HD spinning as well. I am possibly getting a new motherboard tomorrow. Would this fix the problem??
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

i'm not sure. it might be a power supply problem unless you're absolutely certain you're providing enough power.

it would probably help us to help you if you told us what specific hardware you have. like psu model and wattage etc, and all the other stuff you have attached. motherboard model might not be a bad idea either.

My PSU is a TR2 - 430w Thermaltake and my motherboard is an ATI IXP 400. My video card is an EVGA 256mb and I also run Creative SoundBlaster XFI Platinum. Right now I have 1GB of DDR ram. This setup has worked before with no problems for quite a while. It's just been in the last few days that it hasn't worked. Hope this helps a bit.

***The PSU is only 1 year old.
