ok so my laptop is having power cord issues so i hate moving it around the house. SO my downstairs comp i play games on so i can't have my aim or msn up. so i though out of my old spare crappy parts i would put a comp together got everything built. but whne i turn it on i have no pic. wut must i do so i can see bios screen at least? prolly reall dumb but thanks

450 MHz AMD K6-2 its goin to be really really slow .... i wouldent bother you cant even overclock her or put a biffy'er amd in like a k7 2.2ghz

make sure graphics card is in ok..also pull a graphics card out of anova pc and try it with that :)

when you tern pc on are you getting eney beeps?

ahh well says windows 98 recomended. so idk. and no there are no beeps jsut turns on no screen and the computer says its think and thats all it does

i'm abit confused now hehe is the monitor defanantly on just a black screen? or are you getting something on the screen?

is there an OS already on the harddrive?
