I would agree but it depends on a few things so don't go rushing in. What operating system are you going to be running? How big is the screen you are using going to be? I ask because the graphics card in the third option is a must if you are running Vista. And will help with running DVDs and Pictures on a high resolution monitor.

Vista is the OS that will come with the thid option, although I currently use XP,the screen is a 19" TFT.Would you know by looking at the spec of the third option if i could run 2 monitors of that graphics card?? BW

I really would not go for the middle one.. The third option will support two monitors, however one DVI and one VGA (not two digital signals)

If you are having trouble finding the right combination of things it will be helpful to maybe go to a custom building computer website. These are often cheaper than looking at brands such as HP and Dell and you can pick and choose the components you use so you can get exactly what you want out of your computer. http://www.meshcomputers.com/ http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/ Try these maybe, and post if you are unsure on something.

I have been going through various sites and combinations but I think I have found as good a deal as I can(not that I know a lot about computers).I had finally come down to either no2 or no3 which are about the same price. It probably wont matter much in the end up as either will most likely be sufficient for my needs.I just thought I would ask incase there was something I had missed or if there was a big difference in the 3 specs. As i say they are all about the same price and I will go with number 2,as long as it looks an OK system to everyone who has viewed this thread. Many thanks BW
