| Oh well, so that was a waste of time.
It's a difficult fault to diagnose, especially over the internet.
If it were my machine, and this is what we do in the trade - I would format and re-install, drastic but if you have a hardware issue then Windows will not install, any Windows errors will also go. It is an acid test of sorts.
