As a PRO gamer, it really comes down to personal choice, i tryed the g3, g5, g7 the rakoon and i went with the G5 nice mouse size comfortable, all gaming mouses have the functions you need and dont be swayed by DPI as even on ma 1920×1200 med to high speed is not controlable for gaming

Without trying to be offensive here, you make a thing of mentioning in many of you posts that you are in fact a PRO gamer.. You out for sponsors or something??

If it's that you want to make sure people take you're advice seriously and without any doubt, just because you havn't been a forum member all that long you might want to put something in your sig..

I, myself, am not a pro gamer. I like to play games and do play them rather a lot. I just dont choose to enter tournaments, go to LAN parties and the clan I'm in has had a sum total of one match in which we won 22-3. I just want a mouse that is something of a spectacle. Something different and since I like wireless mice and gaming mice, I think this should be a good choice. I like the box it comes in, the looks, the technology.

I know I wont ever use 5600 dpi but people buy watches that go to 1000 feet deep, they'll never go that far in the ocean but it's nice to know it's ok when you drop it in the sink.

Plus, with my new PC in the pipeline (supposed to be here 3 months ago..) I need a mouse better than an LX5 or a Dell premium optical mouse.

Razer: Yeah, know what you mean.. I know it shouldn't make any difference, but if I'm between 2 things, I may well go with the one that comes in a nicer box

YRTNEG: Oh ok fair one, didn't realise.. lol.

Have you seen the box the Mamba comes in?? It's like a museum piece! Just acrylic instead of glass.. The huge block at the bottom is filled with goodies! Except a CD.. CD's are too nasty to be near a mouse worth more than my current PC..

That's worth about £50 there! The mouse is probably cheap and nasty but looks great in a box so I get charged an arm and a leg.. Does it come with a saw so I can cut them off to pay for it?? =P

One problem I can see about it, is that the LED base "pulses" as it charges. How annoying will that be if you sleep in the same room as your PC? Or maybe the answer is to just make sure you don't charge it whilst your trying to sleep
