| Was just at a customers house trying to work out why her PC wont power up. Tried everything from chaning RAM to PSU to CPU. Turned out to be a PS2 mouse. I know  Unpluged the mouse to move it and it booted straight up. Sparks. |

| Do you know why the Ps2 mouse was causing this problem? As it would be interesting to know why, just incase I ever encounter this problem, if that would be possible Thanks |

| I would hazard a guess that the mouse was shorting inside which was causing the motherboard not to power on.

I've seen this before also and I was defiantly the mouse at fault, changed mouse and all worked fine so the mouse must have became faulty inside, altho' I never thought there to be many parts inside a mouse. Dave. My System: Hybr!d

| Mine won't boot windows with the ipod pluged into the USB Hub. I used to have a problem with a mouse stopping it booting up I think that was in a USB. I just have to remember to unplug the IPod before I switch on. |
