I have a laptop that i have been asked to try and repair. The hardrive has been formatted and when i try to reinstall windows it crashes. Is there any other way for me to instll windows? I was thinking there may be a way of me installing windows on another computer and somehow getting it to work on the laptop? Thanks in advance.

Normally crashing during a Windows install indicates a hardware fault.

Be a bit more specific ... i.e. at what point of the installation does it crash and what error message (if any) are you getting ? or does it freeze, reset ??
