Can I get some feedback on a build I've been working on. I'm planing on ordering in a few weeks. I have a few thousand to play around with so I'm shooting for a fairly high end rig.

http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/Pu...umber=14880667

Thanks!

I think that is a good build if your willing to pay for it. what do you want to use your computer for?

from what i am told, this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835186020 is better thermal compound that the sliver 5 from AS. this too is from AS, but apparently better. i have yet to try it myself. I personally dont think DDR3 is worth it YET. one day it will be. and the new G15 is horrible compaired to the Old G15. at least, thats what I was told by many reviews. i have the old one. if you have the money, wait for the G19 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001NXDBI6

G19 isn't out yet so the reliability and quality can't be determined. I don't want to drop $200 for a possible dud. Can you suggest a keyboard on newegg that would be sufficient for gaming? Thanks.

Hmmmm....I've heard mixed reviews on the Lycosa. Such as keys going dead after a few weeks. I didnt realize it said Afghanistan, lol. I forgot to change it while registering. I'm actaully from California.

Nice build. Very well spaced, and will kick some butt on games my friend. Those 285's are worth every penny.

Reread the hardware guide. Please.

The V8 is twice as expensive as the Xigmatek and performs worse, the i7 is useless as is the DDR3, the PSU is overkill, the surge protector won't help you (get a APS), "Gaming Headsets" have absolutely no sound quality, and the case is overpriced and horrible to build in.

You could get the same system for half the price.
