i was just going to get a quad core, but i realized in doing so i would have to buy a LOT of new pats. so i said screw it, im just guna make a new PC.im an avid gamer AND i edit high def videos a lot. and my E8500 @4GHz is not cutting it anymore for the HI DEF rendering. here is a list of parts i would like to get, and im wondering if this is a good list. if i can do better with my money, tell me! That's a good system you've built there, perhaps Carbon would make a tweak here or there but nothing major that I can see.

I don't think you'd get near $1000 for you old PC, unless you included your monitors. You should mock up your current system on Newegg and get a price for it then base your selling price on that

I don't know. Go on new egg, pretend you're building your current PC and see how much the parts come to. Use that as a rough guide for your selling price.

this is it all (expect the CD/DVD drives) so its just over $1000 with all parts! and it comes with an OS, so thats another added bonus. and it comes Pre-overclocked.

Well you might get $1k for it, depends where you sell it and if you get the right buyer. Just remember to remove ALL of your stuff. If you can format and put the OS back on blank, that'd be best

$%^*&!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that key has been used more than 3 times. it wont work no more. and i lost my disk. i could just make a new account, and then delete everything on the old account. that could work, right? plus that way, i wont have to re-update all the drivers.
