What kind of mouse do you use? If it's a gaming mouse or programmable, can you make a macro? Do you have that option on your keyboard? I know the G15 does as well as most MS regular keyboards I have seen. I would think you could open your mouse menu, select a button, then hit the appropriate key on your keyboard, but I'm not sure. LOL I've been "meaning to" program my lachesis ever since I got it.......... which was a year or so ago, but have never done so. As such, I'm not sure how "programmable" they are. I swear though that while in game, some of those dudes are either quick as hell or they have a button programmed to jump, spin around, shoot, and drop, all with one button click..............

A macro is when you take a series of keyboard strokes and assign them to either one key on your keyboard, or a button on your mouse; IE: the example I put in my last post where someone makes a macro and with one click of the mouse, their in game persona jumps up, spins 180 degrees, fires and drops to a prone lol. However, as far as I can see, your mouse isn't programmable. The button do whatever they manufacturer (whoever that is, couldn't tell there either lol) decided they were going to do. Although you have the skip track key on your keyboard, I don't see how you could transfer it to your mouse. I don't think you can do what you want to do with that mouse.

I think 3rd party applications are available that allow you to do it, by doing the programming stuff on the soft end rather than the mouse itself, like intercepting the signal before it does what it's meant to do, and then telling the PC to do something different. I can't remember what it was called though.. I'll have a hunt round though, see if I can't find it
