We are thinking of purchasing a SONY VAIO VGX-XL201. This will be a second computer situated in the living room, as an entertainment system.
We also wish to play some games, ie- CALL OF DUTY 2, GTR2, etc.
The SONY is fitted with a NVIDIA(R)GEFORCE(R)7600GTL, 256mb, can any one tell ...

We are thinking of purchasing a SONY VAIO VGX-XL201. This will be a second computer situated in the living room, as an entertainment system.
We also wish to play some games, ie- CALL OF DUTY 2, GTR2, etc. The SONY is fitted with a NVIDIA(R)GEFORCE(R)7600GTL, 256mb, can any one tell me if this will give good results. Our other computer is fitted with a RADEON X800,256mb, which runs these games well,& we would like simular results. :?: |

SONY VAIO VGX-XL201
It won't run Vista direct 10 games but it's fast enough for any game out at the moment. It's not the fastest series 7 card their will be a new one out in november with twice the performance as the best card out now. Does the Vaio have PCI E slots for upgrades?
