Default Start up troubles

[FONT=Comic Sans MS]Hey, first post on the forums so Hi :P
Basically the problem happens about 80% of the time when i start up the Dell Vostro 1500 i bought about 2 weeks ago. When i start up the laptop, after the first loading screen it comes up with one there isnt normally present saying that it is testing the disk reader.
Then that fails or has a problem with something, so the computer restarts.
It that something i can fix or is it worth getting in touch with Dell about it?
Cheers
Tom

Default Start up troubles

If it is only two weeks old I suggest you contact Dell, rather than trying anything yourself.
