Default Upgrade

Hi guys

Im looking to upgrade my system. Ive recently come to the conclusion my system sucks/is really old.
I use my pc for all kinds of stuff, photoshop, internet, watch movies you name it. Weekends i play eve-online which is a very cpu demanding game. This is the main reason i wanna upgrade. Im getting super lag. Ive got 2 gb ram, 8mb broadband, 512mb graphics so shouldnt be a prob right?
I bought this motherboard bout 3 yaers ago. Gigabyte Ga K8nf.
Running 3000+ socket 939
250gb HD x2
and stuff mentioned above
oh yeh ddr4 memory sapphire ati 1550

Id like a board that uses dual/twin pci-e 16 if possible.
Ive resently bought a sapphire 512mb graphics card and would like to carry that over and the memory if possible.Ive got about 300 quid to spend.Maybe more depends what u guys says.

Well that all i can think of, hope this is enough info.
Ill await your gaimng pc replies

cheers

Could you link me to your graphics card please I think that may be part of the problem, I would also suggest upgrading your CPU as that is well outdated! to something far better like this little beast

Edit: add this Graphics card to the upgrades and you will have a great comp

That should come in at just under 300squid
The graphics card that you have at the moment isn't worth much at all really, about 40 quid, all it has is a large amount of RAM and nothing to back it up!

Yep I think you should do as I suggested, you will have a little weapon of a machine
You should shop around though maybe you will find it cheaper elsewhere,
as for the VPU error that is probably related to heat, the 1550 is a pretty crappy GPU anyhow

That is a good choice but you will need new RAM with that build aswell! Although DDR2 is pretty cheap these days

Edit: Just curious but what PSU do you have with your comp?

If you're going that board, get the P35C for DDR3 as well. You could save a little by going for a 9600GT over that 8800GT, too.
