Default urgent, please help

what can i do to reduce computer using up to much electricity? i have lowered the brightness & contrast of the screen, i have changed the theme to the windows classic and i use hibernate to turn off the pc. what else can i do to reduce electricity usage when using a computer?

hmmm few things spring to mind clean it, make it dust free, make it run faster by getting rid of some of your unused music, pictures programs etc or just upgrade the memory(which is the best option in the long run),oh and have you got a TFT/LCD monitor?
