Default USB 2 not working

Hi all, i am unable to get USB 2 working. I have XP Home with SP2 installed i updated my drivers and all that but nothing seams to work. If you are able to help with this problem that would be great.

Thanks.

You might need to enable USB 2.0 in bios.

Default USB 2 not working

Look in Device Manager/USB Controllers and see if there's an entry titled USB2 Host Controller or USB Enhanced Host Controller.

Default USB 2 not working

Well when i plug in my USB flash drive it says, "This USB device can preform faster if you connect it to a Hi-Speed USB2 Port. For a list of available ports click here."
I have tried all my USB ports and it still says the same thing.

Default USB 2 not working

That can often happen and certainly isn't unusual. I get this sometimes, when using the front USB ports, which are fed from a mobo header.
I find whenever this happens, I can usually plug the device into the rear ports (straight off the mobo) and the device is fine.
It's all part of the flakey USB interface
