Default Uses for a Spare Computer??

I'm looking to either extend capabilities of existing computers or add to the network in my home.

Here's what I have and their roles:

  1. Windows 2003 Server:
    • Domain Controller
    • File Server + Print
    • CCTV Motion Detected Recording
    • Moodle Server
  2. FreeNAS
    • Network Attached Storage for all downloads basically (Movies, Music, Photos etc)
    • In process of configuring it to back up DC.
    • Streams movies and audio to other pc's in house.
    • Torrentbox
  3. Ubuntu Machine
    • Main computer I use.
    • also runs XP and Vista under Virtualbox.
    • MythTV Setup with a Dual DVB Freeview tuner.
Other computers in the house are just workstations. Have spare pcs and laptops.

Following a recent renovation to our bathroom and installation of waterproof speakers, I want a way to stream audio to the bathroom. What hardware/software should i use? I want to be able to set the music from any pc in the house if possible.

Give me some ideas! Thanks

Put the waterproof speakers in the base of the bath

Probably the easiest method would be to stick a cheap PC in the line up somewher, with a controller mounted on the wall in the bathroom for easy control.
