Hi all. I am not a gamer and mostly use system for internet and working with photos. I built this system with these components;
1. Galaxy GeForce 8400 GS Video Card - 256MB DDR2 2. MB GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P P45 775 3. CPU INTEL|C2D E8500 3.16G 775 45N 4. MEM 2Gx2|CORS TWIN2X4096-8500C5DF 5. CPUCOOLER|ARCTIC P4|ACFZ7-PRO 6. Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3160815A 160GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache I run Advanced System Care Pro daily, Malwarebytes, and Avira Anti-Vir that I keep up to date. When I close any program or open any program their is a delay of at least 2 seconds..sometimes much more. Please, I would appreciate any help. |

No, it's probably background programs.

No mention of PSU, my old high spec system on a budget PSU used to hang for a few seconds every minute or so, new better PSU sorted it.
