Yes, at some point I will be building one. Actually since I now know what to look for as far as parts being compatible, I can start making my list. I dont really have a budget in mind. My ultimate goal will be to build a very fast computer that will have the capability of expanding to what I need in the future.

Don't try to future proof, it doesn't work. Just get the best you can afford today.
