Yes, at some point I will be building one. Actually since I now know what to look for as far as parts being compatible, I can start making my list. I dont really have a budget in mind. My ultimate goal will be to build a very fast computer that will have the capability of expanding to what I need in the future.

Don't try to future proof, it doesn't work. Just get the best you can afford today.

Future proofing isn't possible, advancement in technology is too rapid.

Are you sure you don't have a budget? The cost of modern hardware can surpass $4000 easily and that's just the tower.
