I would however put forth the proposition that the reason you aren't getting advise on the "best value water cooling system" is because the technical experts that frequent this board think that ZERO dollars would buy you the best value on a water cooling system.
Haha, you put it a lot better than I would Bubba.

Well everyone seems to be against Water cooling, so I suppose I'll have to make a build without water cooling at first, and if I have money left, then I'll think about it.

Just damn. I DID bum your high. Dude, if you WANT it and can afford it, then I say go for it. You have the idea in your head and truth be told you won't be satisfied until you try it, so do it now. LOL you can become the board expert on water cooling installation.

Seriously though bro, I can tell you (with no knowledge) or others can tell you, who have knowledge. You have to decide what YOU want to spend your cash on. I can't do that, Carbon can't do that, YOU have to do that. I was young once in the dim and distant past and I did things old farts told me not to do. Sometimes they were right, sometimes they were wrong. Not to sound condescending here, but sometimes you have to say "screw you, this is what I want and I'm going to do it." I've done it, I still do it. Just don't ask for the best value on it lol.

I would however bet my bottom dollar that if you do decide to go with water cooling and have technical problems that the fine folks here that have the technical expertise will walk you through them the best they can. They'll even do so without saying "told you so."

You know you want it, you know you are going to do it, just let us know how it works out. I said before and will say again, I'm curious.

Yea, well I do want it, I just don't know if I'll be able to afford it with the rest, because I'm also wanting to get a new monitor with the build (24"+) and I'm hopefully going to uni next academic year so will need money for that too. I'll just try seeing what sort of money I have when I come to building it.

Possibly what seems like a random thought, but if you have never done watercooling before, there is some special liquid you can use for cooling which is completely safe if it gets spilled over all the components - so if you get a leak then it doesn't fizzle everything inside it.

Can't remember what it's called or where to get it though!!

I've been told tom, (didn't research it but it's from someone who is usually reliable) that the liquid used for what we term "watercooling" is completely inert electrically. I still don't trust it lol.

Yea, they are meant to be non-conductive, some people go insane, and get a defiantly non-conductive liquid and fill the case with it, people use oil and things.
Here's a picture:

Interesting, but I wouldn't want to do it, I would hate how slimy everything was if I decided it didn't cool well enough and wanted to get fans instead or something.

My God that is actually insane!

I suspect it keeps it nice and cool though.

Thermaltake do a W/C kit for about £75 - not sure what it's like though. Not used it myself although I may do at some point.

Is that kit a pre built thing? (eg already has all the pipes connecting all the components together with coolant already inside) or is it all the components, and I have to put it together myself?
