Whats the coolest mod you've ever seen?

I saw an auction on ebay a while back for a Xbox, that had been turned into a Millenium Falcon - the radar on the top had a flashing LED for the power light, and the back bits where the hyperdrive would light up were were the controllers went. It was really, really nice. Was on buy it now for $500 dollars though :(

I saw a X-Wing PC / desk once too - that was really, really cool - it must have taken the guy ages to make.

I wish I could do mods like that, but a)I'm useless with my hands and b)living in a tiny flat I don't have the tools or the space to do that kind of work :(

Watercooling for an Xbox360 sounds crazy, do you have any photos? I'd love to see how that works!

The coolest mod I've ever seen has to be the Battlefield 2142 turret gun by Oliver Konig, photo from Bit-tech...

If you fancy seeing how he did it, check out the guide

I browse alot for cool mods and Bit-tech tends to attract some amazing ones. In fact I think I might do a few reviews of them in the a while.

I've just gone and trolled that website again so I can show some of my favourites. Each image can be clicked and you'll be taken to the project log

Hanger 101

Orac

G.N.O.M.E (Process Shot, not complete)

Orac and G.N.O.M.E were created by the same person and are my top 2 case mods I've ever seen, probably G.N.O.M.E coming first just slightly. Share yours!

I put together a little list of my top5 favourites of all time.

1. The Orac³
Over 240,000 views were recorded to the project thread of the orac³. Within a week of this project first being posted on the BiT-Tech Forums. The project became front page news on Modding and Hardware websites around the world - and it wasn't even finished!

2. The Hypercube²
My favourite mod is the Hypercube². I followed the project from scratch and got more interested by the thay.
It's built by an architect and it looked like he was planning to build a house. The result is really great, you can see it at bit-tech bit-tech.net | Hypercube² Part III

3. The Matrix Rebirth
4. Cold Fusion
5. WMD by Gnome
