I have purchased the following to build a cpu on the advice of a supposed "Tech Guy".....ASUS P5KE Motherboard, Core Duo Processor,SopranoRS 101 case, ATX 450 Power supply & 320GB hard drive. After assembly he turns it on and the keyboard flashes on and off along with the mouse. No BIOS or any thing. My monitor says theres nothing connected and goes to sleep ( LAZY BUM ). There was no beep to tell what the problem is from the speaker on the mother board. All wires & connections have be checked and re-checked and still nothing. Can anyone help??? Thanx in advance.

First thing to note is that you have built a Computer - not a CPU

The CPU is the "Core Duo" which you put in, also it may come in handy if you elaborate, ie. what model is it?

However you don't mention a brand for the PSU, so if there is none, odds are that's your source.
