I have a prolem with a Compaq Presario, whem I turned on it get frezze in the part of the bios, you know th part that appear to press F1 F10...... what can i do

Do you mean that you can't do anything when it gets into the BIOS? Can you select options in the BIOS?

Or does it just not boot on into XP from the BIOS?

Windows XP and BIOS are 2 completely separate things. Setting the CD drive as a boot device has nothing to do with the XP administrator password. Before Windows even starts booting, you should be able to hit a key (like F10, F2, Delete, etc) that gets you into the BIOS where you can change the boot order.
