| Ok, so currently I have a Logitech MX1000 Laser wireless mouse, but it's getting quite old and doesn't hold the charge very well anymore (I got it back when it was a new thing, in about early 05 I think) and I am very pleased with this mouse, so is there any recommended mouse like it anymore? The things I would like in it are:

1. It needs to be wireless (doesn't matter if it's Bluetooth or standard radio waves). 2 .It needs to be rechargeable (so preferable a cradle like thing like my current mouse. 3. Needs to be very comfy (I will be using this alot) 4. Needs to be good for gaming (First Person Shooters and Real Time Strategy mainly) 5. I would prefer it to be laser rather than optical (better sensitivity and won't light everything up in the dark) 6. And plenty of buttons (scroll wheel defiantly, but which mouse doesn't have a scroll wheel nowadays? Thumb buttons are much prefered too as I use them alot for scrolling through web pages) I think that is everything, I don't mind too much about the make, but I have come to like Logitech alot as my current keyboard and mouse (for both computers) are Logitech and are aging quite alot now, and are still working perfectly. | My keyboard Isn't wireless, it's Wired, it's the G15 Rev1 (the good one that has 18 macro keys, foldable LCD and blue lighting ) not this rubish Rev2 that only has about 4 macro keys or something and a fixed LCD and orange lighting |

| Yeah, I have the G15 Rev2. They quit making the good one for some reason. Here's the mouse i was looking at in envy one day at Fry's. I'm left handed though so I can't use it. NO ONE makes a gaming mouse for us lefties. I guess it's because we kick you right handed folks butts already so we need to be handicapped. Weird thing though, when i changed the default location from the US to the united Kingdom, I didn't see this mouse being offered. http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/ga...s/163&cl=us,en EDIT: Here's a review: http://everythingusb.com/logitech_g7...ess_mouse.html |

| That looks like a very nice mouse I'll have a read through the review and see what I think, one problem with it though, is it doesn't look like it's rechargeable, however it might be worth getting a few normal rechargeable batteries for it if I like it enough. Another thing though, is it's not that big, I like the size of my MX1000 but again, I could probably live with it if the rest is good. Thanks alot. +rep |

| It's not rechargable per say, but it comes with 2 rechargeable batteries and the ability to swap one for the other while in game it says. LOL While looking for you i checked out the Razer site. While they don't appear to have cordless gaming mice, I did find one that might work for lefties. I might have to sneak out and get one lol. http://www.razerzone.com/p-66-razer-...ing-mouse.aspx |

| Oh, it's a special type of battery? not a couple of AAA's or something. That makes it more complicated, but if it comes with 2 of them, and you only need one, I suppose it's problem sorted anyway. |

| Wireless mice tend to not be so great for gaming. I'd just get a MX518..if the cord's long enough it won't matter.

| Well I haven't actually noticed any problems with my current mouse, what are the actual problems? |

| High latency, mostly. It's what turned me off that particular mouse, as I had been using wireless for a while and wanted another one. You also have drooping batteries during play sessions (bad!).
