A wireless mouse for cheap(ish)

My Mum to my reluctance now wants a wireless mouse. I use the MX Revolution with my laptop and I can't get enough of the free scroll. She however doesn't know why someone would pay 60 Euros for a mouse. Me neither, luckily I got it for free.

Either way the conditions are quite simple:
USB 2.0
Three buttons (left, right, middle/wheel)
Laser/Optical
Cheap (talking 30 Euros and below, 20 below preferred, she's only ever paid ten euros for a mouse)
Wireless receiver (be it a small stick or one of those round ones)
Charge stand

That last one is important. I don't care if the mouse has normal batteries or some fancy stuff, as long as it comes with a charge stand. I saw one once that has the receiver and charge stand in one connected via USB. It can be connected externally, makes no difference.


And well if no one can help some advice on which companies to stay away from would be good enough as well. I only buy Logitech, my Mum however will get whatever is cheap.

I would recommend the Microsoft range.

They are not rechargeable, but battery life is brilliant (around 6 months fairly heavy use on 2 x AA cells).

I've been using the Wireless Optical Mouse 5000 on one of my boxes, for a good 2 years now and it is a great model (1000dpi), that fits in your price range, if you shop around.

out of interest can i ask why you are talking in euro's when you are in the uk?

Yep, but as he was looking for a mouse for his Mum and said in his 1st post, she had never paid more than 10 Euros for a mouse, I reckoned she was probably not living in the UK .... what do you think ?

Stay on topic,what does it matter if he asked for € or $ or £.
I used to buy Logitech Wireless Keyboard and Mouse from Tesco for only €20.

yes they are good they come with adapters for ps2 ans usb for older computers

i found a good one on newegg for $12 but scence ur in the uk...

post the brand and model then and we can see if it is avalible in the uk

I post in Euros for two reasons. One she is in Germany even though she is a Brit and two, the Euro is a superior currency.

Either way, while I'd never use a MS mouse, I'm sure she would. The price is reasonable as well. I used to have a wireless mouse that when the batteries died you'd have to resynch it, something I cannot trust my Mum to do. Those issues present here?

The M$ mouse has a synch button on the transmitter and another on the mouse, but I think you will find similar on all wireless mice .... I'm pretty sure my daughter's Logitech has this .

My Logitech doesn't though. Ah well, she so desperately needs one...
