My desktop pc died earlier this week and I removed the hard drive and put it in an enclosure so that I could access the data onto my laptop. The laptop finds the drive ok and lets me look at the files and folders on there. However, when I go to the Documents & Settings folder and try to access the folder that contained my old data it says that Access is Denied. I can look at other folders, but not this one. I really need to get to the information there. Is there anything that I can try? I am no pc expert, but I'll have a go at anything. My biggest worry is that the disk contains information necessary for my work.
All help appreciated. |
