Default Animated Gif Editor

I have a "Merry Christmas" revolving gif and would like to edit it to also make a "Happy New Year" revolving gif.

I am looking for a program, preferably freeware, that would allow me to edit this horizontally revolving animated gif. I have Photoshop and a simple microsoft editor, but they do not appear to be able to edit this particular A.gif

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Brian DJ

photoshop cs2 comes with an animation program called image ready this allows you to animate the gif and you can pass the gif between photoshop and image ready for image editing and animation

I use the Ulead_Gif_Animator programme and have always found it to do just what I need.

take my suggestion and if you like it do add it to my reputation in the forum, i desperately need some here...download Quantumhog editor, it is an open source community software, its pretty easy to use and making animation through it is as easy as creating a basic HTML web-site. it uses 3DMLW language.
