| Hey all, Just a quick question, Every time i boot my computer and log on everything freezes if i use the keyboard for anything, i can use the mouse but if i were to type or press any keys my comp would freeze. I've tried leaving it for a couple hours once frozen and nothing changes, I've tried 3 different keyboard/mouse combo's and system restore still nothing, tried updating any drivers via device manager with no luck. The only way to get around this is to switch my psu off once frozen, basically if i want to use the keyboard i have to first 1.Boot 2.log on 3.purposely crash the computer by pressing any keys 4.switch the psu off 5.switch it back on and boot once done i can use the keyboard until i restart my computer or turn off in which case i have to repeat 1-5 ![]() Any ideas guys? starting to feel like a fresh install of windows is install. |

| Maybe try a windows repair or the ccleaner registry fixer. Dunno.

| In your 3 different keyboard/mouse combo's, did these include USB or PS2 devices ?
