Do any of you have kids, and use net nanny software? If so, does it work? So far all the ones I have seen are far too easy for any child with half a brain to circumvent?

Has anyone seen any that work? I'm starting to think a better idea would be to just set up a router / firewall with a list of blocked sites and leave it at that. Sure, it might not be 100% protection, but its probably better than the 'intelligent' filtering that the programmes like Net Nanny / Cyber Patrol claim to offer.

I've found all this kind of software pretty crap, all it does is log users activity really and it needs constant monitoring, unless you block sites, but with so many bad sites out there it's pretty impossible to maintain. Better to educate the user IMO.
