Going back a bit now but does anybody remember Gopher before the HTML craze took off?
Also, anybody remember using Mosaic before [blink]Netscrape[/blink] killed it off? Funnily enough, I understand that Microsoft based IE on Mosaic. Do you all still regularly use FTP? Telnet? I am feeling in a reminiscent mood.

All that, except I use a secure Telnet equivalent now. Putty when I'm on a Microsoft operating system. Mosaic was just magical. I remember how little information was out there to browse too.
