Yeah thanks for the note on 64GB Touch Haun.

I'd just received an email myself about it, looks interesting but I can't say it came unexpectedly. I think the price is too high though. An extra $100 for 32GB.. If you need the space fair enough, but Apple always do this, charge ludicrous sums of money for hardware upgrades. Take Mac's for example - It's £800 to upgrade from 4GB RAM to 8GB RAM. I bought a set of 2 x 4GB for £110 so why Apple feel that in the quantities they produce they can charge so much is beyond me. Personally 64GB touch doesn't appeal to me for my uses. The 64GB iPhone is what I'll be after. Although I wouldn't be too cut up if I have to settle for a 32GB version of the 4th gen iPhone, I'd just like to see the extra space for space hog apps etc. My System: FordyPC

With regard to 64GB touch interface slim ipod's, check out the infamous "Thread 500" over on macrumours:
http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=500&page=4 it's an amusing read. "Woah 5gigs?! This thing is revolutionary" "ANOTHER MP3 - why an earth would Apple want to get in on this market, just another pathetic stab to get on consumer level" Haha.. |
