I installed AutoCad 2006 and went to run it. When it starts up a message appears that it encountered a problem and when you click ok it terminates AutoCad. This happens everytime you start AutoCad, I can't even get as far as to enter the keycode. Can anyone shed light on the situation and how I can fix it? Thanks

Have you tried contacting the makers, they may be aware of various issues and thus fixes.

The computer meets the requirements of AutoCad, it has 200GB hard drive, Pentium 4 Processor, 1/2Gb RAM. It will run AutoCad 2002 perfectly and it will run SolidWorks 2007.

have you got the right version of OS? for example, I have seen some programs like that which only work on 64Bit machines, therefore if you have a 32 bit OS, it won't work. Do you know if this is the case or not?
