Hi i tried that but there is not "propmt me each time to choose an action" option. I even tried to "open autoplay" but nothing ..the box is highlighted for a second but nothing happens.

Download and run Tweak UI PowerToy
  • After installation, launch Tweak UI. Click the (+) by My Computer in the tree menu on the left, then click the (+) next to AutoPlay then click Drives. This will allow you to change the system settings for AutoPlay/autorun.
  • Check or uncheck the drives you want to adjust AutoPlay on and click on Apply.
  • Next, click on the Types in the left tree. This allows you to control whether Autoplay is enabled for CD and DVD drives and removable drives. You may need to restart Tweak UI if it closes after step 2. Check or uncheck the box to adjust Autoplay for a particular type of drive.

Hey that link was really hlepful...i had tried many of things on there before anyway but the one ..open start then all programs andin accessories have to do something ...that made autoplay work ...only thing is it only works 1-2 then have to do the process again, but at least it gets it working. Thanks!!
