hi lads , just bought myself an external hard drive that is also amedia player and was wanting to install by daughters dvd's into it but was hoping to shrink them from 4.7G to 700mb what software should i use for this

I use Magicdvdcopier to backup copy protected dvd's. Then Nero 7 to compress them. If no one posts any free programs, i'll have a look for some good ones and get them linked for ya.

Unfortunately, 'backing up' is still copying protected and copyrighted content.
