Hi guys, my black&white screen, the one when I start my machine has disappeared.
No when I start my computer is black and for a while windows xp logo shows...
What should i DO?

I have Core2Duo processor & GeForce 8400 graphic card, and dunno what type of mother board

Try explaining the problem a bit more. What's a black and white screen? Does the computer get to the desktop eventually or not?

It might help if you give your computer model too.

No, its the screen from the bios i guess, some white text, numbers and stuff on black background... Before windows starts. And now its gone

There's a toggle inside the BIOS that turns the display on or off and for some reason it's switched. If you tell us the computer model we'll tell you which keys to press to switch it back, and to check that the other BIOS values are sensible. It's not meant to have switched itself, usually that involves someone pressing a key during the boot process and then a few more.

My computer its not a brand. I made my configuration by myself, it has Intel Core2Duo processor, 2GB RAM, Asus motherboard but i dont know what model, 320 GB HDD, GeForce 8400 graphics car, I know that this informations can help you to spot the problem, but can you tell me how is this set to done on most computers...

Different motherboards have different ways of getting into their BIOS when you power the computer on. Most enter the BIOS if you press DEL when it beeps, some use F2, some are different. If you try DEL and that gets into your BIOS then the name of the motherboard will probably be on the first screen and we can look up what to check.
