Hi. I rebuilt my computer last weekend. It has M2N-E SLI board, Sapphire 1950 pro 256Mb pci-e graphics, 4Gb pc6400- 800 ram (2 x2), Athlon 64 5600x2. At first it ran ok, tho rebooting took its time and often tried 3 or 4 times before success. I kept getting window messages that a windows file was corrupt so I reinstalled windows (xp).
Now, it starts but after a few minutes goes to blue screen with "bad spool header" legend. I am using my old 500 wt power supply and will now be ordering a new 750 version. Does anyone have any other ideas?
Cheers

Sounds like the spool files are corrupt. (Printing system) You don't need a bigger PSU!

You may need to disable/remove your printers until you can get this fixed. Also stop the print spooler service.

Wow, just noticed the amount of RAM. You could well be right!

Try taking a memory module out!

XP home doesnt recognise more than 3GB or ram. XP pro 64bit does however.
