Hi friends..

I m looking for a good book fr C#. As a beginner i started form "Programming in C#" by Balagurusamy. The book was good, but fr beginning purpose only. Besides, the book was mainly console based.But stll there's tonnes and tonnes of stuff to b explored.

So, now i need a good and efficient book to teach me the hard core concepts of C#, but starting from my level.
I wont mind beginning from the scratch again, if required. But i dont want a book that will confuse me.

I m yet not familiar with ADO.NET or XML or ASP. Some books i saw makes heavy use of it, so it confused me. Can anyone plz suggest me a good c# cook book, which concentrates only and only on C# in starting(console and windows based programming)....then may advance to other concepts later down the line.
