hi all,

I seem to have a problem with my laptop. Im running on windows xp, Iv got nortons internet security (latest version). for some reason my computer screen freezes and im unable to do anything, the whole system is frozen, cant close, open or do anything, after a few minutes the laptop just shuts off by itself.

Iv run the virus check with nortons internet security also
ad-aware se personal,

iv also regestered with Uniblue - RegistryBooster 2,

all clear all know problems, but have never experience this sort of problem

can anybody help

sounds like an overheating problem, make sure the vents arent being bloced by dust, if they are you will have to open your laptop and clean it but make sure you know what you are doing first.
