| I tried a Logitech mouse which I later un-installed. On a later occasion after a reboot: my new mouse started to play up by flying to the side of the monitor screen and also momentarily sticking causing the box to emit a single short beep. I thought I would take it out and put it back in only to find to my amazement that the logitech mouseware was still installed. I have tried everything in the book and nearly everything else as well to get rid of it. It does not appear in the registry or in add/remove programs. I cannot find a single instance of it anywhere on my box except in hardware devices. I have tried reloading logitech and over writing it with other mouseware but nothing will remove it. I am at my wits end; if logitech were in the UK I would be up on murder charges by now. Can anybody think of anything I can do without a new XP install? Has anybody else had this problem? I have tried Logitech and cannot even get the courtesy of a reply. Is there any body here who can take me through a manual install of something you cannot find? It's a big ask but you never know. |

| Have a read here ........ although your situation may be slightly different, the Resolution describes how to manually remove the Logitech MouseWare, which may be of help.
