Hi there!
I'm new here to the forum, and was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem. I have just bought an XX Flash 512mb USB memory pen. Having Windows 98 SE on my PC, means I have to download the driver for it. I tried the manafacturer's website (www.ixistore.com), but the whole site's in Italian and unfortunately I don't know a word. There is an English language section, but all that you find there is a notice marked 'under construction'. My final recourse was a help and support email address. I banged one off to them, but as the days pass I'm not getting any response. I was wondering if anyone here might be able to suggest where else I could download the driver, or for that matter if I can download a different make that would work? I'm getting a bit desperate now, as I'm on a university course, with projects building up that require me to tranfer data between my PC and the uni's, and having paid good money for this memory pen I can't use it. Can anyone help?

Yours in need,

Tara

Short of getting the driver from the manufacturer your best bet is to replace the drive... they are fairly cheap from say dabs.com small ones are around £10.

Thanks Dave for sending your suggestion, but my son went back onto the manufacturer's website and remembered that Google had a translation service, so he was able to find out what the Italian was all about and then download the driver.

The memory pen now works in the computer.

Thanks for taking the time to answer.

Good idea, i did find the site but didn't post it as I didn't think it would have been of much use. Glad its sorted now.
