Looks like it installed over the old version.

So much for "Beta". Good thing I trust it to work properly or that would be disturbing.

I ran Both cleaners from the old first and then the new, V2.0 found one new error in the registry
Probably caused by the installation of the new version lol

Good thinking!

I was in too much of a hurry to check it out. Usually beta products install as new instead of replacing the existing stable product. I suppose they tested it enough to be confident it isn't going to cause any problems.

Im gonna stick with the old version at the moment and then get this when they release the full version. Ill read up on it first though. :)

hi all,i am thinking of using ccleaner on my laptop.i would like to do a registry clean and want a tool that does it automatically.are there any risks with using this,cheers das.

Never had any problems with CCleaner. Just use the backup feature just in case.
