I just hope they don't start adding any potentially destructive features. CCleaner is very safe compared to most other cleaners and already has plenty of critics due to the registry feature. Don't fix what isn't broke!!

Looks like a nice addition to the program. Going to have to update it and run it again now

I started to run the Free Space cleaner but it was going to take too long so I'll do it later. Seemed to be doing a good job though.

How do you know your Registry was "damaged"? If it was damaged your PC probably wouldn't boot. Please be extremely careful with ANY 'Registry Cleaner' - they can often do more harm than good. There is really no need to 'clean' the Registry. If anything, all you need to do is back up the Registry - if you have XP then try ERUNT & NTREGOPT. ERUNT is a programme that will create automatic backups of your Registry. These backups can be used to help restore your system in the event of a serious crash. NTREGOPT will compact and optimise your Registry, to assist the smooth running of your system

Experts miekiemoes and Bill Castner have interesting information on so-called Registry cleaners here

Agreed. The only thing that can repair a registry is a windows install disk.

This is definitely the most useful program for me. It allows me to uninstall multiple programs without going thought the security check every time.
