I use a Logitech internet navigator keyboard (swe), with iTouch 2.22 (latest drivers).

I tried out and un-installed Google chrome.
From thereon the key "My Home" that I've set to "WWW standard" (startup page) no longer functions, so I un/reinstalled iTouch, but now even the keys set to "Webb page" refuses, "program" (exe assigns) etc still works though.

If I press the malfunctioning keys the iTouch-on-screen-display still shows the title I gave to it (e.g Google), so it's probably windows that's become messed up somewhere.

"Registry mechanic" cleaned but it didn't help.
FFox is the default browser with which it worked with before.
Also starting IE no longer shows the startup message "~make this browser default", DESPITE that I have the checking enabled.

ermm why don't you just go to default programs and choose internet explorer. as for you iPod touch, do you use that as a replacement for your mouse? Why not use a regular mouse? I can't seem to find your problem... Please be more specific:

What is your OS?
What's the iPod got to do with it?

And finally, uninstall firefox if u want ie to be default browser
